Lochee United v Musselburgh Ath
2 - 3
Whitehead, Birse
03/12/2016 Lochee Exit The Scottish Cup
Lochee United went out of the Scottish Junior Cup losing a goal in the 94 minute of the match to give the visitors a 3-2 victory. After leading 1-0 from a Whitehead goal in the 16th minute Lochee scored in the first minute of the second half courtesy of a Birse cool finish to lead 2-0. From there on in we could have and should have finished the tie. To Musselburghs credit they never gave up and fought their way back into the game. Hagan should have had a stonewall penalty when he was clearly taken out with the score at 2-0. Poor refereeing again today I hope the man in black watches the highlights.
