Lochee United play their last home league game of the season on Saturday when we welcome Linlithgow Rose to Thomson Park. The visitors have had a very poor season by their standards flirting with potential relegation but surviving by the skin of their teeth.Over the season they have sacked two managers with Mark Bradley appointed on Monday evening for a second stint as gaffer. Lochee United travel to Fife for the last time this season when we meet Hill of Beath in our next Super League fixture. Games against the Fifers are never easy and this one will be no different. Having lost last week to high flying Kelty Hearts manager Bobby Wilson and the club agreed to go their seperate ways. This will be the Haws last game of the season and I'm sure they will want to end the season with a win. Lochee United turned in a very solid performance at Penicuick Athletic today winning the match 3-2. Goals from Greg Kirk and Kevin Buchan gave us a 2-1 Halftime lead. A second goal from Buchan on 62 minutes wrapped up the points for the Bluebells. Penicuick grabbed a second goal in the last minute. Overall a good win which could have been by a far higher margin. Lochee United have four Super League fixtures left to play with three away from home and Linlithgow Rose to come to Thomson Park. First up is Saturday 13th when we visit Penicuick Athletic who have had their best season ever in the Super League. They lost at home on Wednesday evening 4-1 to Bonnyrigg Rose in a league match and Im sure they will be looking to bounce back against us. Lochee won the first league match earlier this season 3-0 in what was a very good performance. The injury situation is still the same leaving the Gaffer with a tight pool to choose from....
