Lochee United welcome Newtongrange Star to Thomson Park for what is a crucial league match which the Star must win to have any hope of preserving their Super League status. Nitten have battled away picking up points and are unbeaten in the league since 18th March. Lochee United turned in an excellent performance against Broxburn to take all three points having playeed for 70 mins with 10 men after goalkeeper Mark Fotheringham was ent off.. Lochee United have two home Super League matches to look forward to starting with this Saturdays visit of Broxburn Athletic. Currently we sit two points behind Broxburn but have played two games less than our opponents. Lochee United travel up the coast a wee bit to meet our local rivals Carnoustie Panmure in our next Super League fixture. Despite winning the first meeting between the clubs back in August this will be a different game. Carnoustie had a horrific start to the season so much it looked odds on they would get relegated,however things started to turn for them when they beat Broughty Athletic and they havent looked back since. 12/04/2017 Birse Signs 2 Year Extension
Lochee United are delighted to announce Connor Birse has signed a 2 year extention to his contract. Our Player of the Year last season has spent most of this campaign out injured with a bad knee injury which is being operated on next week. Connor has been told by the surgeon he will be ready to get his career back on track in time for pre-season training.
