Lochee United produced another good performance coming from behind to win this top of the table clash 2-1. A penalty inside the first thirty seconds got Carnoustie of to the perfect start when Sam Simpson netted to give them the lead.

Lochee soon got our game going and it was no surprise when Logan Davie fired in a cracking strike which Robbie in the visitors goal could not hold, the ball spinning off him back into the path of Logan who made no mistake the second time of asking to level the game on 25 mins. Two minutes later Kerr Hay puts Lochee in front with another of his angled efforts giving Robbie no chance.

Second half why we did not add to our goal tally is a mystery to me. We crafted many many chances but our finishing let us down which was to the benefit of Carnoustie.

A well deserved win which was crafted from a hard working set of boys who continually took the game to Carnoustie.

A number of players in contention for man of the match but once again Captain Grant Lawson gets the nod ahead of Logan Davie. Well done players and management.
