Lochee produced another solid performance winning 5-0 away at Downfield Juniors tonight. Grant Lawson gave us an early lead from the penalty spot after Kerr Hay was brought down in the box on ten minutes. The second came on the twenty third minute from George Johnston and shortly after that Johnston had a fantastic run past a couple of defenders and getting of his shot only to see it hit the inside of the post and away to safety. Halftime 2-0 to Lochee United JFC

Second half saw Lochee pick up where we left off and it was not a surprise when Kevin Milne met a George Johnston cut back to make it three nil and George then got his second after being played in by Josh McConville to make it four nil. At the death Lochee were awarded a second penalty which George Johnston converted at the second attempt after Robertson in the Downfield pulled off a really good stop but George followed up to put the ball into the net and get his hat-trick.

Good performance in a game we controlled from start to finish. Man of the match has to be our three goal hero George Johnston. Well done players and management.
