Forfar United vs Lochee United – Match Report

Lochee United recorded a 5-1 away win at Forfar United tonight. A fantastic header from Danny Cavanagh from a corner kick in the first minute gave the Bluebells a perfect start. From there on in Lochee controlled the match and created a number of chances which should have seen us increase our lead. Poor finishing and some good goalkeeping kept the score at 1-0 however right on halftime a good cutback from Cavanagh into the path of Ross Gallacher making his first start of the season saw Babs coolly smash home to make it 2-0

Second half Lochee resumed where we left off and it was no surprise when Kev Milne made it 3-0 and within a couple of minutes he got his second and our fourth goal. Milne then went on to get his third with a very good finish. That was the end of our scoring but Forfar grabbed a good late goal to end the match 5-1 to Lochee United.

Another hard working performance from all fourteen players who played tonight. Kev Buchan did really well at centre half but for me for his work rate all night and his three goals, my man of the match goes to Kev Milne.
