Lochee United vs Banks ‘o Dee – Match Report

We have lost three matches this season but today’s opponents were by far the best side we have met. Strong in every department we had to be at our best and we were to a man. A very difficult first half which the visitors probably shaded on possession but having said that they never tested Josh in our goal. We had a couple of efforts but nothing to trouble their keeper.

Second half Lochee step up their game and it was no surprise when Logan Davie fired home from just inside the box around the 65 minutes. We then created 3 really good chances over the next 20 minutes which on another day would have resulted in goals. All credit to the players today they were resolute throughout and fully deserved the victory against a top side in Banks of Dee.

Man of the match goes to all 11 players who never let themselves or their teammates down.
