Lochee United lost three second half goals to go down 0-3 in this competitive friendly match against Highland League side Formartine United. Our visitors were playing their fourth friendly against our first match of the season and despite that advantage we did well over the first hour creating a number of chances. Halftime at 0-0 was probably about right but we lost a poor goal right at the start of the second half this resulted in Grant Adam picking up a knee injury and having to go off only a minute after coming on. Josh Gorton who played the first half was not allowed to come back on, Kevin Buchan took the goalie’s jersey for the rest of the half. Overall a good workout against a top side having had only two training sessions going into this game. Next up is an away match against Montrose Roselea at Links Park on Wednesday evening kick off 7.00pm Congratulations to Formartine on the win and best of luck for the season ahead.
